Kensal Green Open Day 2006

Kensal Green Cemetery Open Day July 2nd 2006

The Kensal Green Cemetery open day 2006 was held on one of the hottest day's of the year. Despite the intense heat at ground level the catacombs under the Anglican Chapel provided a welcome as well as very interesting respite from the heat.

The various tours both above and underground proved to be a major attraction, the Friends of Kensal Green always provide entertaining and informative tours and no two are ever the same.

An impressive fleet of Hearst's, refreshments, various stalls and a great and varied mix of people all came together to complete a very enjoyable if somewhat stifling day.
