The Kensal Green open day for 2007 was held on the 8th of July. The weather was perfect
for the occasion and thankfully nowhere near as hot as last year.
Attendance appeared to be excellent with a constant flow of people making their way to the
central Anglican Chapel. The biggest attraction at most cemetery open days is always the tours, and with Kensal Green this
also includes a 30 minute wander below ground in the extensive Catacombs.
Such is the allure of Kensal Green it even attracts the attention of the long arm of the law
who stopped by for a curious look round, see photo below.
With many familiar faces from past years and other cemetery open days it almost seemed
like a big reunion of the macabre kind.
