Sunshine and rain were the order of the day at Nunhead 2006. But despite the weather
there was certainly no shortage of Cemetery enthusiasts to make the day complete.
Visitors could experiences both the highs and the lows of Nunhead with trips up
to the chapel roof via a very narrow stone spiral stair case and for those brave enough, a 15 minute tour descended into the
chapel crypt, complete with fungus covered coffins.
Other attractions included an impressive line up of hearse's,
cemetery tours, plenty of stalls, displays and two choral performances.
Congratulations to the Friends of Nunhead for a great day.
