St Augustine's Church, Broxbourne, Hertfordshire was
built around 1460 by Sir John Say. The church stands adjacent to The New River in a lovely setting with Churchfields
Recreation Ground opposite.
Within the fairly extensive graveyard are some impressive
monuments and tombs. Towards the rear of the burial ground a secluded set of steps lead down to an almost hidden lower
tier of graves.
St Augustine's Church is Grade 1 Listed.
