New album entitled 'Strange New Worlds' by Joerg Dankert now featuring on M.P.R Ambient.
In the words of Joerg Dankert:
“To explore strange new worlds; seek new life and new civilizations; to go boldly where no man has gone before!”
In my youth, I heard those words a hundred times. This quote is from the opening of the Starship Enterprise TV show. Now, many decades later, I am witnessing major advances in space exploration, fascinating new technologies, and detailed images from the universe and animations about exoplanets.
"Strange new worlds" is atmospheric, with lots of soundscapes and sound effects, sometimes dark and then melodic again. I didn't break many new paths, but stayed true to myself and my preferences. The tones and sounds are all invented and recorded by me. Presets are sometimes a starting point for me, but they're always being modified.

The forthcoming new album 'Frozen Waste' by Daryl Groetsch is now featuring on Moon Phase Radio.
Portland, Oregon-based composer Daryl Groetsch’s output under the name
Pulse Emitter forms a catalog of nearly one hundred physical releases
since the early ‘00s. The full scope of his wide-ranging experiments in
synthesis and electronic arrangement encompasses everything from
expansive new age drift exercises, to purely textural noise sculpting,
to post-Berlin School cybernetic prog compositions. Pulse Emitter
approaches electronic composition from the perspective of a master
craftsman, harnessing a fine-tuned sense of narrative development and a
penchant for juxtaposing contrasting synth voices from far-flung corners
of his arsenal of softsynths, app-based programs, and hardware
instruments. While he conjures time-lapse vistas of galaxies and nebulas
in our mind’s eye, the sophistication of his arrangements and the
universal beauty of his harmonies pushes the lens inward on the self,
resulting in a journey that is as personal and internal as it is
celestial.
As of 2022, Daryl Groetsch has also been creating pure ambient space music under his birth name.
'Frozen Waste' is one half of twin albums being released on the 18th of
July. Between now and then, MPR will be featuring five preview tracks
from both albums, 'Gardens in Glass' and 'Frozen Waste'

While their artists' aesthetics are experimental in nature, they primarily deal with professionally trained classical musicians, who have turned to a more experimental side of music, including stylings spanning the darkly decadent to the childlike dreams of fairy tales.

EZ77 is the lo-fi/lounge music alter ego of charts awarded German hip-hop producer Eifelgangsta. If you like relaxed, jazzy chillout music, "Thoughts" is just the right thing.
Lukewarm late summer wind caresses the skin during the walk on the beach. The rhythm sets the pace. The jazzy saxophone massages the eardrums. A relaxing feeling sets in, and yet a certain melancholy rises with the "Thoughts" that this moment of security is finite.

Daryl Groetsch (pronounced Gretsch) has been making synthesizer based
ambient music since the late 90s. Most of his work since then has been
under the Pulse Emitter name.
Returning to this form of pure
ambient space music fulfils a vision born from hearing a late night
ambient program on public radio as a kid, and striving to achieve this
sound ever since.

New track from Tonbild entitled 'Der Morgen Danach' now featuring on MPR Chill.
Tonbild creates dreamy chill-out music with atmospheric drifting pads and soft beats.
Inspired by modern ambient music and mellow movie soundtracks. The project took shape during the pandemic and has so far seen the releases of Traumreisen (EP), Grenzenlos (EP), Zeitlos (single) and Wolkenlos (single).
Tonbild has recently entered into a partnership with Ekko Agency, and they will act as his sync agent in audio and audiovisual productions.
Inspirational artists include 36, AK, Vangelis, Hilyard, Ulrich Schnauss, Tycho, Jon Hopkins and Brian Eno.
The brand-new single 'Der Morgen Danach' (The Morning After) drops on the 5th of May. Featuring a rhythmic backdrop that will continue into coming releases.

"This song is the first I made that really stood out from the others. I was in Japan on a bullet train and thought that I was living quite a nice experience: The train was running at 300 km/h, so really fast, but inside everything was so quiet and chilled. I wanted to blend in a track in Japan, the speed of the train and the environment I was in".

“SUCCESSFUL FAILURE”, the latest album by Mike Hans STEFFL is now featuring on Moon Phase Radio.
Mike Hans STEFFL is a German photographer and DOP, but also a musician, doing electronic music since the 1970ies. Born in 1959 he was mainly influenced by artists of his youth, like Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, J.M. Jarre and Vangelis. His main genre is Berlin School and Ambient music.
In order to capture every emotional moment of his playing, he decided to record only true LIVE situations in his studio in Munich, Germany. Since 2018 he often goes DAWless to avoid a computerized production. All of his instruments are real hardware, sometimes true analog oldtimer, but he also likes to combine this vintage gear with new digital synthesizers.
“SUCCESSFUL FAILURE” Music for the Voyage of Apollo 13
This concept album is my approach to show the emotional side of the perilous voyage of Apollo 13. We all know the story of this space trip that did not end in a deadly disaster, although the crew was sometimes closer to death than to success.
I try to make the listener feel what was behind the thorough and controlled behavior of the crew. The three astronauts had to encounter a variety of problems, worries, and fears. My music dives into these different situations and reflects the moments of hope and danger. Finally, the crew came back to earth alive, due to the unified efforts of a great team. The mission couldn’t be completed, but it turned out to be a “SUCCESSFUL FAILURE”.
